In 2012 the prestigious Northern Meeting introduces  additional events as part of our  plan to grow in the years ahead into an international festival of piping. Come and join us and travel with us as we embark on this exciting journey.

The Scottish Highland Pipes - the sound of the 18th Century. Playing with replica pipes in the original key of A, modelled on a 1785 set in Inverness Museum, the 4 members of Seudan play a medley of wonderful tunes.
